Around the South Bank Centre there is even a small amusement park additionally to the many stalls where you can buy food and hand crafted presents.
When wandering along the streets around Oxford Circus and Co. you can take the time to enter some of the shops. Most especially bigger ones, such as the old Liberty mall, the Debenhams and John Lewis, have a fantastic christmas decoration inside, often with a designated floor for xmas items. It is a really stunning experience to see those, also indie the Harrods mall, mainly also because some open the christmas areas in September already!
Also there is the winter wonderland going on. It is located in a big part of the famous Hyde Park and entry is free. On the weekends the area does get very busy in the evenings. Inside you will again find several food variations and, as you see in the photo, all kinds of entertainment.
